Frequently Asked Questions
What Is Telehealth?
Telehealth is the remote delivery of healthcare services using technology such as video conferencing, secure messaging, and mobile apps. It allows patients to receive care from licensed providers without needing to visit an office in person.
What Is Telepsychiatry?
Telepsychiatry is a branch of telehealth focused specifically on mental health care. It allows patients to connect with a licensed psychiatrist through secure video sessions. Because most psychiatric evaluations and medication management don’t require a physical exam, telepsychiatry is ideally suited for virtual care. With a stable internet connection and a device that supports video, you can meet with a psychiatrist from your home or any private location.
Why Choose a Telehealth Psychiatrist?
Convenience and flexibility:
No need to commute, sit in a waiting room, or take time off work. You can attend your appointment from home, work, or anywhere you have internet access.
High-quality care:
Research shows that virtual psychiatric care is just as effective as in-person visits. Patients report positive outcomes, strong provider relationships, and significant time savings.

Dr. Hall may provide supportive therapy and may introduce Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) concepts during appointments.
